About Le Suprême
Le Supreme is a French brasserie in downtown Detroit’s Book Tower, serving classic French cuisine, steak frites, fresh seafood, wine, and cocktails. Ideal for dinner, date nights, and upscale dining, it offers a lively Parisian-inspired atmosphere in the heart of Detroit.
Located at Book Tower, 1265 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226, Le Suprême operates as an other food place serving Detroit in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (313) 597-7734. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is lesupremedetroit.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 1,023 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded other food places in Detroit.
Detroit is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Detroit follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Our server Daniel was awesome. Although I prefer east coast oysters and requested some, I believe the west coast is what I got, but they were delicious! My wife got the trout and I got the scallops and both were perfect! The wild mushroom tart is a must!

Amazing food! Our server had an Eevee pin on their tie and they were absolutely wonderful! The cheese board and French onion soup were super yummy. I was able to get a spot walking in but a reservation is probably recommended. Don't forget a chocolat pot de crème before you go!

We have eaten here twice. The service is always on point as is the bread and butter and onion soup. Definitely get the martini service if you like (gin) martinis. And save room for dessert if you can. The first time we ate here we had the steak frites and au poivre. This time, we tried the burger and scallops. The burger was ordered medium and came out well. The scallops were fantastic. We also had the lemon tart and chocolate pot de crème for dessert. Only issue was that two dishes that made it to our table had chips in the edge and there was a spot of sauce on the rim of the bowl the scallops were in. Something I thought would have been caught by expo at the pass.

The place was super cute and the staff was amazing, but the food was just alright. We came for a girls night and ordered several drinks and apps and main entrees. The deviled eggs I ordered were good, but I did find a hair on them. The manager did take care of it and removed it off our tab, but it was still disappointing. Most everyone got French fries and they were quite salty and soggy. I got a steak and ordered medium, but it was definitely cooked medium rare and had a weird piece of tendon that was raw running through it. All of the other entrees were VERY buttery. We ordered a few mushroom tartes and the fish. BUT the chocolate soufflé dessert was AMAZING. The redeeming quality of the restaurant. I would definitely just get that again.

Le Suprême was my choice for a special anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. Located inside the beautiful Book tower downtown on the corner of Grand River & Washington, this brasserie looked like it was lifted straight put of Paris. The exterior is lovely and warm, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. The food was largely spectacular and the menu consisted of a number of French delicacies. We started our meal with a bread and butter service as well as the excellent escargots and foie gras. Both were so good we needed additional bread clear the sauces from both plates. For our entrees the table ordered two fantastic steak frites, (which is the safest bet for even the pickiest eater), moules mariniere (Mussels and frites), and a delicious filet mignon au poivre. The mussels were the only thing that we might not order again as it was served with little to no broth which is often a highlight. The wine menu is wonderfully extensive and for dessert we enjoyed coffees and lovely macarons. After dinner we walked around the lobby of the Book Tower which was a lovely little bonus. About the only knock I would give the place is that the server, while friendly and helpf
